Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow (cue music :)
Last week, before anyone's central heating turned on, Luoyang was buried beneath about eight inches of snow, the first blizzard of the season. I'm told that not only was the snowstorm unusually early but it was far more snow than generally falls here. It was beautiful. Snow's great as long as you're dressed for it, don't have to drive and aren't in a hurry. I just rearrange my life so I'm properly dressed, leave early and there's no question about driving--no car :)
