Christmas in China
Yes, the Chinese celebrate Christmas, though in a very secular way. Hotels and public areas of Shanghai were lavishly decorated.
Luoyang hotels and malls were also decorated, and some Christmas items available

Santa sometimes looked like one of my former literary agents (below) but most often looked a little scary, with blue eyes that followed you everywhere and oddly red, thick, shiny lips (on the right). Sometimes he hailed from Russia (below).
